On Wednesday, 8 May 2024 the Athens Chamber of Small and Medium size Industries- leading partner of “EcoFashionEU- Promoting the sustainability of small and medium textile and fashion manufacturers” organised an international event about sustainable fashion & texile industry drawing from EcoFashionEU Project’s Sustainability Tools and Outcomes with the participation of members of Enterprise Europe Network- EEN.

In the context of the event, innovative tools and approaches developped throughout EcoFashionEU regarding sustainability in the fashion and textile industry were presented alongside thr program’s research outcomes. All the above were presented to experts of EEN who specialise on sustainability and sustainable development in the field of textile, fashion and the creative industries from the following countries: Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, United Kingdom and representatives of the European Commission. In particular, during the event were presented:

• Ethos Fashion Tool. Online self-assessment tool of SMEs in the field of textile, fashion and ready-made clothing.
• Educational Toolkit on textile and fashion sustainability for trainers in Civil Society Organisations and NGOs
• Policy recommendations developed throughout EcoFashionEU

with the aim to disseminate the knowledge, tools and skills acquired during EcoFashionEU in favor of SMEs in the field of textile, fashion and ready-made clothing in other European countries.
